If you're a serious breeder of quality color, you're in for a nice surprise-Sorpresa means surprise in Spanish.
So very stylish. So very 7/8ths Accoyo. So comparatively rare in a nice dark female! Sorpresa is very correct with a bright, well crimped fleece and a fine soft handle. Please see her histogram below.
Her sire Accoyo McGwire has produced impressive show winners and top quality animals of color, among them a lovely rose gray daughter who sold at AOBA 2005 for $50,000, and Emerald Farm's multiple Champion Orlando Cloud, one of the best gray Herdsires in America right now. Her typey black dam, Dusk Over Peru, has also done well in her short show career, placing 5th of 14 in a competitive level 5 AWE halter class, and 1st of 7 in the EVAA fleece show in 2005.
