For the extremely discerning breeder of elite quality white alpacas, we're proud to offer La Paloma. A two time Reserve Champion in two very competitive show rings, she's every bit as solidly excellent today as a bred female as she was when turning the heads of her judges. Paloma has beautiful crimp characteristics, a really amazing soft hand, excellent density, and of course rock solid conformation. A sweet, mellow disposition will add to the fun of having her on your farm as well-a good thing, as she's got many years of outstanding production ahead.
For her first breeding, we chose our Bay Black 6 Time Chapion, 11 Time Blue Ribbon Winner, KV Valiant. A bit unusual for such an elite white, yes, but as committed breeders of quality in colored fleeces, we thought a Champion to a Champion was a great bit of fun play. Later, you might choose to explore Paloma's 1/2 Accoyo, 3/4 Peruvian background with an Accoyo sire known to throw color. As you'll see from her ancestry she's got that strong potential from her dam, Valedar's Chiffon. Her sire , MFI Providence is becoming well known for his high percentage ability to pass his own excellent fleece characteristics.
